• Question: Why did you give up on being a Journalist?

        Hello,

        I think the situation with journalist jobs is very competitive and the degree in journalism/media might not be actually the best route if you want to do writing for a living. I decided to do a degree in something which interests me (geography, geology, politics) and learn/practice writing on a side. Although I am not employed by the media but I still get invited to write on science and opinion blogs so it’s a bit like journalism 🙂 Good luck!
