I have always been interested in how people work and how the world works, and that’s what science is all about really.
Right now, as a researcher, I use science to get to the bottom of unanswered questions, and solve problems, which I think is great. I think the best thing about being a research scientist is making brand new compounds and seeing things that no one has ever seen before.

My interest in science comes from the point of awe. In everyday life, we take too many things for granted (I definitely do). We pass places without noticing their beauty, we use devices without understanding how day work… on some occasions I get to stop and wonder “how was this tunnel built?” / “how come I have dreams? ” / “How were this mountains formed?” – asking questions like that led me to pursue science as a career. Maybe this event will have a similar impact on you? 🙂

Because there isn’t always an answer – or one that can be easily found!
