• Question: Whats the most sustainable source of energy?

      Hello! It depends on where we need energy.

      Solar, wind, hydro (from rivers), geothermal (from volcanoes) and tidal are all sustainable as they don’t emit much carbon dioxide (you only need energy to turn raw materials into e.g. solar panels or wind turbines but it’s much much better than oil and coal)

      However, their success depends on where they’re located. E.g UK is an island, therefore it has amazing offshore wind energy potential! However, other sources are just at good in certain regions, I’d say we need a combination of them

      As Ola said, anything that takes energy directly from renewable sources- like sunlight, wind, the tide, the heat within rocks (called geothermal) are all equally sustainable once the basic infrastructure is set up.
