      Hello,
Yes it’s definitely worth doing it. I think schools don’t teach us enough about the value of energy, where it comes from, how are energy bills creates and what are kilowatts.

For example UK is not very energy secure in winter peak times, which means that it doesn’t have much energy reserves for called winter evenings, when everybody is using loads. By learning about energy savings and getting into habit of washing, cooking in off-peak times (so not weekdays straight after work) we can protect ourselves from power shortages!

Yes. Every little bit of energy we can save now is going to help us in the future. Campaigns that constantly remind people about the importance of this help to ensure that new generations are growing up with a different attitude towards energy.

It’s important to remember as well that even though we have got enough oil to meet our energy needs until about 2050, at the moment we need oil to make things like plastics and pharmaceutical drugs too, so we really need to save as much as we can!

      They are and they do!

We need to save energy and change the way people view it as a bottomless pit – which right now it isn’t!

By doing this more people will become involved with making us more energy efficient and using greener resources, which will help to reach a point where we get energy from only sustainable sources!
