        I think the science stereotypes are quite harmful – .e.g not all scientists are scatter-brained, wearing lab coats or struggle with switching back to a normal social chat.
        We need to challenge these stereotypes to show that science is an inclusive and open field!:)

        I don’t like public speaking, so I get very nervous when I have to present my work at conferences or even in front of my colleagues.

        I am becoming more confident each time though, so I guess I just need to keep practicing 🙂

        Stereotypes is a big thing, and trying to change peoples perceptions about science is quite hard.

        Another thing is that a lot of the time stuff doesnt work – and although we can always learn from our mistakes and what goes wrong, it can be quite demoralising at times!
