At the moment I’m working towards a PhD (a 3 year long research degree that earns you the title of doctor), so because I am technically a student, I don’t earn that much, about (£14, 000 a year).
In another year or so, once I’ve completed my PhD, I should hopefully earn about double that.

Hello – similar to Megan. Phd Students earn about £14 k year, and can get extra money for travelling or from teaching.

        After that, hopefully £30 k /year (at least:P)

PhD students all earn the same, at around £14k, and then it depends what you move on to do after that, but it usually increases quite fast the higher up you go.
