Good question!
If you’ve ever heard of Dolly the sheep you might know that it is very possible to clone animals.
In order to make a clone though, you need some DNA. The fictional scientists in the Jurassic park films found some dinosaur DNA in a fossil. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately), in real life this isn’t possible. DNA isn’t stable for more than about 500 years, so any dinosaur DNA that was fossilised wouldn’t still be in tact now.
As for vampires, I don’t think so- humans would need some pretty serious genetic mutations to become vampire-like, and these couldn’t be passed on by biting.
With science fiction, definitely. Not so sure about with just science.
As Megan said, we need DNA to be able to clone things, or bring a new species back from extinction, and i don’t think anyone went around collecting dino DNA before they went extinct.
And making a vampire might lead to a few ethical questions and barriers along the way!
